The best way to get out to Ft. McHenry and get a view of the harbor?

The best way might be to buy a ticket on Ed Kane's Water Taxi Service. During June, it runs from 10am-11pm Monday-Thursday, 10am-12m Friday and Saturday, and 10am-9pm Sunday. It picks up and drops off at 17 places around the harbor and you get a great view. Adults pay $8 a day for unlimited trips. They say to be sure to check in with the staff about where you want to go. Also, they provide a reminder that it's not the best mode of transport if you're trying to catch a plane.

What neighborhood do I put into the search block?

Many of the resources we'll point to to help you find things of interest in Charm City will ask you to specify in which neighborhood to search. Well, if you're not from around here, how do you know where the neighborhoods are? There are several ways to find the neighborhoods. The easiest way to see them is to look at the City of Baltimore Neighborhood pages. You'll probably want to click on Central and SouthEast to see the individual neighborhoods in these areas. Central includes the convention center and SouthEast includes Little Italy, Canton (newly come up in the world), and Fells Point.

If you want to see as many neighborhoods as possible on one map, use the Baltimore City iMap interactive map application, uncheck all but neighborhoods, and zoom in once or twice.

Baltimore City Paper: CLUBS

In response to a request for a dance club with industrial music, I searched the City Paper online. The City Paper, if you're not familar with it, is one of the best places to find things to do. All types of things... well, it use to be called "alternative" journalism, but it's pretty mainstream now.

So what they said is what my friends suggested, Club Orpheus. nb: I have not been there so have no personal knowledge of this club.

The Wayfaring Map

San antonio - Radical Reference Wiki

San antonio - Radical Reference Wiki

James Jacobs posted a link on Web4Lib to his San Antonio travel guide wiki that he's created for ALA Mid-Winter. Maybe we can use this as a model for other things to do here?

Update: There's a wikitravel page for Baltimore, but it's pretty incomplete.
