A little video tour

Hi All-
I created a little video tour of this site. It's a big file, so I might try to see if I can pare it down a little. Please tell me what you think. **NB: don't try this over dial-up unless you're ready to go stretch your legs anyway. Click here.

And my first time as well

Please send restaurant reviews for the SLA 06 print guide to cmceowen@arl.army.mil We want to include a variety of restaurants, a wide price range, different types of food, etc. Please include the name and location of the restaurant, telephone number, the website address if available, the type (sandwich shop, Italian, Asian Fusion, street vendor), the average price for a meal, and a brief review—not more that 75 words. Include info of interest to conference attendees—group-friendly? Reservations? Also, indicate whether we may use your name on your review. I think it would be a great way to meet people who like to eat what you like—go to dinner together, perhaps. Send reviews asap, please. Thanks. Connie.

So what do we call this thing?

Hi All-
We're still debating a title. Some proposals include:
  • All About Baltimore: Getting Around in Charm City
  • Quoth the Raven: SLA Maryland Chapter's Interactive Guide to Baltimore
  • The SLA Maryland Chapter Blog (boring!)
Please leave comments with suggestions!

Dine Arounds

If anyone has suggestions on a particular restaurant they would like me to check out as one of the possible dine-around selections please feel free to let me know.
Kathie

My first ever post to a blog

OK, this is the first time I have posted to a blog. I want to thank Christina for volunteering to set up this blog and help the Maryland Chapter develop the proper policies and procedures.

Christina, the SLA Maryland Chapter is lucky to have you. Thank you!!
